I was amazed from your phrasing where legato and nuances create a language with high learning and powerful expression. The quality of your vibrato in the pianissimo communicates the psychology of this character, so emotional, and the virtuosity in the coloratura and intensity in the drama parts make an excellent portrait of the Scottish Queen. I appreciate very much the wise balance of expression on the big form, gradually growing from the 1st act, with a charming appeal, to the 2nd with a hot temperature of intensity, by a different relation between legato and nuances in the phrasing! Your presence on the stage is perfectly balanced between dynamism of full movement and little gesture with the head, the eyes and the hands, so that when you stay tenderly smiling for contemplation or sad for melancholy, people is conquered and takes part strongly. Last year, in La Scala, we performed Maria Stuarda with others singers, but….so I hope next time it will be with you! Please come back to La Scala soon! We wait for you!
